Poland and South Korea have signed an agreement to supply 180 K-2GF tanks and their Polonized K2PL versions, along with support vehicles, to be manufactured in Gliwice, Poland, at the PGZ arms group's plant, Polish media reported, calling the deal the "tank contract of the century."
The contract signed with the South Korean company Hyundai Rotem follows a 2022 framework agreement for the delivery of a total of one thousand of these vehicles to Poland and provides for the purchase of 180 K2 tanks by Warsaw, of which about 60 are already being manufactured locally.
