Poland detains 2 Belarusian citizens flying drone over president’s residence in Warsaw
Poland's State Protection Service quickly secured the drone and detained two citizens amid ongoing investigations during regional military exercises and rising NATO tensions.
- On September 15, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the State Protection Service neutralised a drone over Parkowa Street and the Belweder Palace, detaining two Belarusians as police investigate.

- Following the breach, partners announced deployments and equipment transfers, with Britain flying fighter jets over Poland and the Czech Republic and Netherlands sending additional systems as part of Operation Eastern Sentry, NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte said.
