- Federal officials contacted JI Deputy Chief Liaquat Baloch, offering a three-member ministerial committee to negotiate in Islamabad or other locations within a 24-hour deadline.
- Rehman described the strike as a "writing on the wall" for rulers, signaling that Jamaat-e-Islami may launch a long march toward Islamabad if demands remain unmet.
