PM Modi visits Advani to seek his blessings
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited former Deputy Prime Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart Advani at his residence to seek blessings on completing 25 years as head of government.
Modi began his tenure as Gujarat chief minister on October 7, 2001, serving 12.5 years there before becoming prime minister for 12.5 years after winning three Lok Sabha elections.
Across the country, BJP leaders organized 'Viksit Bharat Sankalp Sabhas' and torch rallies as part of the nationwide 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' to mark the 25-year milestone and pledge toward 'Viksit Bharat 2047'.
Modi coined the slogan "We Will Do It" while asserting India will become a developed country by 2047, though he flagged casteist divisions during elections as a major challenge.
President Droupadi Murmu extended greetings, calling the tenure a "momentous milestone" and stating that transformative initiatives have touched the lives of millions across Bharat.
