Macron and Modi Meet in France for Indian Tech Showcase
More than 120 Indian deep-tech startups and 15 higher education institutions are taking part in the showcase, which aims to link India’s innovation sector with global partners.

- Macron hailed India as a "major innovation nation," while Modi emphasized "AI for All" as emblematic of building technology that benefits humanity broadly rather than serving narrow commercial interests.
- Nice Mayor Éric Ciotti said the event "confirms the growing place of our city in international exchanges, innovation, and economic development," as leaders prepare for bilateral talks at Villa Kérylos.
- Delegations will travel separately to Évian-les-Bains in Haute-Savoie, which will host the G7 summit from Monday 15 to Wednesday 17 June. Modi is reportedly expected to hold a separate meeting with President Donald Trump during the summit.
