  • Crews were called to State Highway 59 at 5:14 p.m. Monday in the Town of Sylvester after the crash was reported just before 5:15 p.m. near State Highway 59 and Forest Prairie Road.
  • Emergency crews found a broad debris field from the aircraft and extinguished the blaze with help from Monroe Rural Fire Department, Juda Fire Department and Green County EMS.
  • Green County Sheriff Cody Kanable said, `Next steps for us are that our detectives are on scene working with the coroner's office to identify the two individuals`, and authorities have not identified the two people killed.
  • The NTSB and FAA will investigate the crash, examining the cause and circumstances, authorities said.
