The Sejm has once again rejected the appointment of PiS MP Marek Ast and legal professor Artur Kotowski as judges of the Constitutional Tribunal. Both candidates – for the fourth time – were put forward by PiS. "The process of electing independent judges should begin in February," Justice Minister Waldemar Żurek recently said.
