‘Pink Out’ night turns sour as Newport falls hard

January 31st at Newport was doubleheader night, ‘Pink Out’ night, boys’ basketball Senior Night, Buffalo chip throwing night and turned out to be Blowout Night as both the girls’ and boys’ teams experienced blowout games.The boys’ team, unfortunately, was on the wrong side of the blowout as the undefeated, highly ranked York Country Day Greyhounds ran roughshod over the Buffaloes on their way to an 84-39 victory dropping Newport’s record to 1-18.
