Pfizer and Biontech infringed patent rights in the development of a Covid-19 vaccine
A court in Düsseldorf has ruled that US pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and German biotechnology company Biontech infringed the patent rights of US biotechnology company Moderna in developing vaccines against Covid-19. Pfizer and Biontech will now have to assess the financial benefits of the patent infringement and provide appropriate compensation.
