Petit Bar Trial: Convictions up to 13 Years in Prison and Close to 10 Million Euros Fine

The members of the hard core and the first circle of this Corsican criminal clan were sentenced, on Wednesday 28 May, by the Marseille Correctional Court, to prison sentences rarely handed down in a purely financial case, and to record fines.

The head of the Corsican criminal gang, Jacques Santoni, received the most important sentence. A five-year sentence of ineligibility was handed down against all convicted defendants.

Fines for a total of almost 10 million euros were also imposed in this case called "Email Diamant" by the investigators, for the laundering power of this toothpaste. During the three months of hearings, in the correctional court, two visions faced each other.
