Peruvian Armed Forces carried out a new combat operation against “Sendero Luminoso” in the VRAEM

In an operation against narco-terrorism in the Apurímac, Ene and Mantaro River Valley (VRAEM), the Joint Command of the Armed Forces and the National Police dismantled two “caletas” (resupply tanks) of the remnants of the “Sendero Luminoso” gang in the Ayacucho region.
