On early Thursday afternoon an avalanche broke away from the Sassolungo. Immediately several rescue forces started a large-scale search for possible spills. The emergency helicopter Aiut Alpin Dolomites was also in use. After about 2 hours it was possible to give a warning: nobody was spilled.
