Person Struck By SMART Train In Petaluma
A SMART train struck a person this morning around 9:53 a.m. near the Cinnabar Bridge, causing major delays. The Press Democrat reports the southbound train carried 57 people; no injuries were reported among passengers or crew. SMART has set up a “bus bridge” between the Petaluma North and Downtown Petaluma stations. The condition and identity of the person struck are unknown.
