Person stabbed in Grand Rapids, police say

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Someone was stabbed on the south side of Grand Rapids Tuesday night, police said. It happened around 10 p.m. on Jefferson Avenue between Griggs Street and Burton Street, according to a spokesperson for the Grand Rapids Police Department. It’s not clear how serious the person’s injuries are. GRPD could not confirm if any arrests were made or what led up to the stabbing. The victim’s identity was not released.
