Woman Dead, Man Arrested in Richmond, B.C., Homicide: RCMP
RICHMOND, BRITISH COLUMBIA, JUL 19 – The suspect was charged within 24 hours after the isolated incident involving a partner without prior violence history, police said.
- On Friday morning, July 18, 2025, Richmond RCMP responded to a serious incident at a home on Capstan Way, and a 51-year-old woman was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

- On Saturday, July 19, the BC Prosecution Service approved a second-degree murder charge against the suspect, following coordinated efforts by five agencies that met the 24-hour standard.
