After his house burned down more than a year ago, Leonas, a Vilnius resident, received support from the municipality and was placed in social housing. However, a year later, the municipality decided that the man had to move out. The Vilnius City District Court examined a civil case in which the municipal company “Vilniaus miestos būstas” sought to evict Leonas from social housing without providing him with another living space.
