Six baggage handling companies at Schiphol are fined by the Labour Inspectorate if they do not meet the requirements to relieve staff. The inspectorate offered the companies a penalty payment burden. If they do nothing, that penalty payment will take effect in fifteen days. The fines vary by company, the highest being 65,000 euros per month.
