In Lindelhoeven, Pelt, the fire department today preemptively removed old rook nests from the breeding colony on Lindelsebaan. The municipality hopes this will prevent the rooks from re-establishing themselves in the same location this spring. This is a first step in limiting the disruption to the neighborhood. The municipality will also deploy volunteers to repel the birds with laser pointers.
