BURKE, Texas (KTRE) – At 1 p.m. Friday, May 30, the Angelina County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a pedestrian being struck by a vehicle on Hwy 59 in Burke. DPS troopers and sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene, which was in the area south of Stringer Road. They found the pedestrian’s body in the highway.
