Pecatonica girls take the final step to school history and a state championship

NORMAL, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — Pec yeah! as they’ve been known to say in Pecatonica in recent weeks. The Pecatonica Indians believed they could capture a state championship. Saturday afternoon on the campus of Illinois State University they did.  They defeated Carrollton 63-45 for the Class 1A crown.The Indians scored the first basket of the game on a hoop by freshman Korah Noud.
