MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Thursday departed for South Korea to participate in the 32nd Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting, where he will promote the Philippines’ economic and regional cooperation agenda.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has left the Philippines for South Korea to attend the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in Gyeongju until November 2. The president has appointed Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Secretary Conrado Estrella, and Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Sonny Angara as caretaker of the country.
