Pato O'Ward to Drive in FP1 for McLaren at the Mexico City GP

MILENIO Mexican Pato O’Ward, of Arrow McLaren IndyCar, will participate in the first free training session of the Mexico Grand Prix 2025 for the second year in a row, according to McLaren. The 25-year-old Monterrey driver is one of the most outstanding in the Indycar Series and, according to his team, will take control of the MCL39 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodríguez for the race on October 24.

Mexican driver Pato O’Ward has been confirmed by McLaren F1 to participate in the first free training session of the Mexico City Grand Prix on Friday, October 24. The announcement is given just two days after the Regiomontano celebrated his 26th birthday, and arrives in the midst of his preparation for the 500 miles of Indianapolis.

Almost half a year is still up to the Mexico-GP. But McLaren already announces: In Central America a regular pilot has to suspend.
