On Monday at 3 a.m. the National Weather Service issued a heat advisory valid from Tuesday 11 a.m. until Wednesday 8 p.m. for Western Chester and Eastern Chester as well as Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh and Northampton counties.The weather service comments, "Heat index values up to 103 degrees expected."
