The House of Representatives will debate the cabinet's nitrogen plans on Wednesday. The cabinet appears to have already secured sufficient support, as Pro has indicated it supports the plans, provided they are not watered down during the debate. However, two additional seats are still needed in the Senate, explains BNR political reporter Leendert Beekman. "With, for example, Volt or the SP, the cabinet could count on a majority there as well."
The House is debating the nitrogen plans presented by the cabinet on Friday.
