Parkside looks to raise part-time officers’ pay to bolster staffing

With weekend police coverage sporadic, Parkside is looking to raise part-time police salaries. At Wednesday night’s Parkside Borough Council, members agreed to look at raising part-time officers salaries from $25 to $29 per hour. Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police President Chris Eiserman, who is also a Deputy Chief in Folcroft said $29 is about average.
