May 7, 2025 Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service rangers have warned that heavy fines can be imposed for illegal behaviour in State Forests and National Parks. A spokesperson singled out increasing unlawful behaviour which had been observed in Wondai and Benarkin State Forests. A number of fines were issued over the Easter holidays.
