The group, which also includes Chilean director Diego Céspedes and Scottish writer Paul Laverty, will deliver the Golden Palm of this edition, which will be held between 12 and 23 May.
The chairman of this year's organizing committee will be South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook.
From May 12 to 23, the world's greatest stars will be on the Croisette at the 79th Cannes Film Festival. On Monday, May 4, the jury chaired by Korean director Park Chan-wook was unveiled.
