On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at around 11:30 p.m., a man in his fifties was the victim of a violent attack on the banks of the Seine in Paris. According to Paris Match, his five attackers robbed him before pushing him into the river. The public prosecutor's office has opened an investigation into attempted murder.
The victim was able to get out of the river after long minutes of effort. Two suspects were arrested and placed in police custody for attempted murder.
