At approximately 2:50 a.m. Sunday morning, a trooper with the New York State Police requested backup after clocking a vehicle traveling northbound on the Palisades Parkway at speeds reaching 120 mph. Following a brief pursuit, the vehicle crashed at the Exit 13 off-ramp. The driver was taken into custody at the scene.
