- Separately, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi arrived in Pakistan late Friday for leadership meetings, while presidential advisers Jared Kushner and Steve Witkoff are traveling to Pakistan on Saturday.
- Last year, President Zardari completed a 10-day official trip to China, meeting leadership to advance shared objectives and enhance cooperation across diverse fields, establishing precedent for this engagement.
