Pakistan’s Hasan Ali Resumes Bowling After Being Stretchered Off the Field During Second Test Against Bangladesh
Hasan Ali was taken off on a stretcher after a head blow but returned later in the morning and resumed bowling for Pakistan.
On Saturday, Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali was stretchered off the field during the second Test against Bangladesh at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium after hitting his head while attempting a return catch off Tanzid Hasan Tamim.
Pakistan captain Shan Masood won the toss and opted to bowl first, introducing Khurram, Babar, and Sajid, while Bangladesh handed a Test debut to Tanzid and brought in Shoriful Islam for Ebadot Hossain.
Returning to the field in the 16th over, Hasan resumed bowling before the morning session concluded, with the move appearing precautionary after he initially appeared disoriented following the fall.
At the close of play, Pakistan reached 21-0 while trailing Bangladesh by 257 runs with 10 wickets remaining, after the visitors bowled the hosts out for 278.
Bangladesh leads the two-match series 1-0, having beaten Pakistan by 104 runs in the Mirpur opener, as the visitors aim to level the series in Sylhet.
