A second prosecution witness identified two of the five men accused of the deadly June 5, 2022 attack that killed more than 40 worshippers at St. Francs Xavier Catholic Church.

- The witness identified the five defendants pleaded not guilty to the nine‑count amended charge, and she showed her damaged left leg, which was injured by an explosive, undergoing four operations, skin grafts, and iron fixation.
- The DSS is prosecuting five suspects, including Idris Abdulmalik Omeiza and Al Qasim Idris, with two witnesses volunteering statements at the DSS Akure office on May 26, 2024.
