Outlander: Blood of my Blood: STARZ Releases Official Season 2 Trailer
The trailer teases war, romance and time-travel fallout as the series’ two couples are separated again by the Jacobite Rising.
- On Friday, STARZ released the official trailer for Outlander: Blood of My Blood Season 2, with new episodes premiering on September 18 and dropping weekly on Fridays.
- The series follows two young couples—Henry Beauchamp and Julia Beauchamp, and Brian Fraser and Ellen MacKenzie—whose lives are disrupted as the 1715 Jacobite Rising splits the Scottish Highlands and forces clans to choose sides.
- Grappling with his mental health, Henry fights to find his way back to Julia, who is forced to return to Castle Leathers to contend with her "sinister husband," Simon Fraser, Lord Lovat.
- Brian and his cousin Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser return to Castle Leathers to pledge loyalty to Lovat, while Ellen returns to Castle Leoch to find her feuding brothers, Colum and Dougal.
- Produced by Sony Pictures Television, the series is executive produced by showrunner Matthew B. Roberts and builds upon Diana Gabaldon's international best-selling Outlander book series, which has sold an estimated 50 million copies worldwide.
