Traffic heading from Sweden towards Denmark was disrupted for several hours on Thursday as a result of a water issue which required integrity testing of the road surface. The road has since been partially reopened.

The Öresund Bridge was closed for safety reasons on Thursday morning. The cause is an undermined road on the Danish side. There is currently no timetable for when the road can reopen.
The Öresund Bridge is completely closed in the direction of Denmark - and this could last for a long time. At the same time, there are long queues for those who have already made it onto the bridge. The reason is that a motorway on the Danish side is at risk of collapsing.
