KOTEK WINS NOMINATION, DRAZAN LEADS GOP, GAS TAX DEFEATED

May 20 2026 3:10 a.m.   It appears that Republican State Senator Christine Drazan will face incumbent Democrat Tina Kotek in the race for Oregon Governor in November. Results from the Oregon Secretary of States Office as of early Wednesday, show Drazan leading State Representative Ed Diehl, 42 percent to 33 percent. Former Portland Trailblazer Chris Dudley is in third at 16 percent. Kotek has captured 84 percent of Democratic ballots statewide. …
