Almost 400,000 euros have been collected at the Vienna Opera Ball for the ORF-supported initiative "Austria helps Austria". Altogether, the director of the State Opera Bogdan Roščić handed a cheque of 397,271,10 euros to the aid action for people in need in this country. The sum is made up, among other things, of the solidarity surcharges on tickets and on the whole gastronomy at the ball, as it was called on Monday in a message.
