Open season on park geese? - Central Wisconsin News

Although a few methods have been tried, to persuade the wild Canadian goose population at Mill Yard Park in Cornell, to go elsewhere, nothing has worked. The city has tried spraying grape seed extract around the park, which the geese find distasteful, and installing a coyote statue, to scare them off, but to no avail.

Editor, The Smithfield Times: Anyone who has read Michner’s Chesapeake knows that Virginia and Hampton Roads have a long history with Canada geese. I recently found out that the Villas of Smithfield’s HOA held a meeting on June 12 at the clubhouse supposedly to allow the homeowners to give input and ask questions.
