A Cochrane review that has analyzed 90 studies on nearly 30,000 people indicates that out of every 100 people using nicotine e-cigarettes to quit smoking, 8 to 10 could successfully quit smoking, compared to only 6% using nicotine replacement treatment, 7% of those using nicotine-free e-cigarettes, or 4% of those who are not supported or only receiving behavioral support.
