CAPE TOWN, AUG 10 – Netflix confirmed production of One Piece Season 3 starting in Cape Town, following Season 2's 2026 release with new characters and key story arcs from the manga.
- During Tokyo’s One Piece Day celebration, Netflix dropped the first trailer for Season 2, featuring Nico Robin played by Lera Abova using her Hana Hana no Mi powers.
- Despite industry strikes, Netflix advanced production on Season 2, which began in June 2024, even as filming wrapped earlier this year.
- Three major characters appear in the trailer, including Charithra Chandran as Nefertari Vivi and Callum Kerr with two cigars.
- Netflix confirmed a third season, with production in late 2025 in Cape Town, ending with the tagline “And Season 3 Sets Sail Soon.”
