One woman at an assisted living facility in Eureka was injured in an apartment fire early Monday morning. Humboldt Bay Fire responded to a fifth floor fire alarm at 6:50 am at the Silvercrest Residence in Eureka. After entering, firefighters “searched the apartment and found one victim inside the apartment unconscious.
