Every year on August 23, we commemorate the European Day of Remembrance for the Victims of Totalitarian Regimes. The date refers to the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and commemorates the victims of regimes that brought mass deportations, repression, extermination and violence to Europe in the 20th century.
