Crvena Zvezda ends Euroleague campaign with dramatic loss to Bayern

The basketball players of FC Bayern Munich wrestle Red Star Belgrade in an annoying play-in game after an extension of 97:93 and get the chance to win the quarter-finals. For this they have to win at Real Madrid.

The EuroLeague playoff round began on Tuesday. Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, which finished 10th in the regular season, ended its EuroLeague season with a loss.

The Euroleague basketball playoffs have begun, or, like the NBA, the playoffs. Red Star Belgrade will not see them, having lost to Bayern Munich in overtime 97:93.

Red Star Belgrade basketball coach Giannis Sferopoulos said after the loss to Bayern in overtime (97:93, 84:84) that he would comment for the first time on the referees, who he said did not have uniform criteria and who called an uncalled foul on Cody Miller-McIntyre with the score tied at 82:82.

It couldn't have been more dramatic, it couldn't have been more difficult. Zvezda stopped in the play-in.
