Once a QB in high school, St. John's Landon Danner is glad he switched to linebacker

COLLEGEVILLE — Landon Danner played 10 games at quarterback for Rosemount during his junior season in high school. He didn't throw much for the Irish, passing for 244 yards, three touchdowns and five interceptions that fall. He was more dangerous as a runner, with 71 carries for 359 yards and six TDs and he helped guide Rosemount to the Class 6A state championship game.
