Anthony Hopkins, who made his mark as Hannibal Lecter, has composed music throughout his acting career.
Anthony Hopkins (88) could easily have had a very different career. The two-time Oscar winner tells Billboard magazine that music was his first great love and that he initially would have preferred to become a musician rather than an actor. However, he said he lacked the necessary discipline. “I didn't have the skills as a musician or the patience for theory.”
