The World Track Cycling Championships will be held in Shanghai on October 14–18, where Lithuania will be represented by the only O. Baleišytė - the Panevėžys cyclist has won the right to participate in all endurance events. The championships in China are also important because they will be the place where the fight for tickets to the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic Games will begin.
