Olesea Stamate proposes the creation of an inquiry commission to investigate the Amnesty Law: "The truth must be told, not hidden"

Unaffiliated MP Olesea Stamate has registered a draft resolution in Parliament proposing the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry committee to investigate the Amnesty Law in a "transparent and professional manner." According to the draft, the committee would have access to all documents that formed the basis for the drafting, adoption and implementation of the Amnesty Law, as well as the release of prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment.
