Ukrainians who enjoy temporary protection in the Netherlands and have a job or other income will pay more for the use of state shelters from October.
The Netherlands has sent a strong signal. The parliament is drastically tightening asylum: the duration of residence permits will be shortened, family reunification will be significantly restricted, and anyone who is in the country illegally or supports migrants will face penalties in the future.
