Ukrainians who enjoy temporary protection in the Netherlands and have a job or other income will pay more for the use of state shelters from October.
The Netherlands has sent a strong signal. The parliament is drastically tightening asylum: the duration of residence permits will be shortened, family reunification will be significantly restricted, and anyone who is in the country illegally or supports migrants will face penalties in the future.
From October 1, Ukrainian refugees in the Netherlands will pay twice as much for living in municipal centers TSN.ua (news 1+1).
Refugees from Ukraine living and working in the Netherlands will have to pay more to use state shelters. The changes will come into effect from October.
The Netherlands increases housing costs for working Ukrainian refugees. From October 1, Ukrainians who work and live in municipal housing in the Netherlands will pay more than twice as much. This decision by Minister Mona Keizer is aimed at reducing inequality and partially covering utility costs.
