OLAF Control Group to Combat Illegal Shipments of Waste

The European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) recently held the inaugural meeting of the Waste Transfer Control Group (WSEG) in Warsaw, Poland, bringing together more than 50 actors from across the European Union and abroad, including environmental, customs and police authorities, transporters and judicial authorities, in a joint effort to combat the growing threat of illicit trade in waste.
