Le Fleurve (Naha City), which sells Japanese wine overseas, is working on exporting Okinawa-produced brown sugar to France. In cooperation with brown sugar processors in the prefecture, they have developed a tablet-shaped product that can maintain quality even during long-distance transport. They have signed a contract to supply 15 tons to restaurants and confectionery shops.
