Faced with the budgetary pressure imposed by the cuts of the Confederation, the Federal Statistical Office (OFS) will reduce its benefits and staff by some 40 posts. The measure is expected to save 13 million francs per year.

The Federal Statistical Office (FSO), under budgetary pressure, already announced in February that it would have to reduce its staff and eliminate certain tasks. The Federal Council announced on Friday that around forty positions will be eliminated by 2028.
